Film goers love to be scared by disaster and horror flicks among other genres. Celebrating Act 2 founders Art Kirsch and john Coleman talk with Forgotten Hollywood’s Manny Pacheco about how Hollywood filmmakers have reacted to real contagion and how the industry has used fear of the unknown –from the flu to the atomic bomb– as the basis for a large number of films, dating back to the 1930’s.
